Election of New Board Members of IFMBE CE and HCTA DIVISIONS

Four new Board Members of the Clinical Engineering (CE) Division will be elected at the General Assembly in Sydney, Australia in August 2003.

Each member society is entitled to nominate candidates for the election. These nominations are considered by the Nominating Committee who will - in conjunction with the Board of Clinical Engineering Division - select candidates from the list of individuals nominated by their countries, and prepare the slate to be included on the ballot at the General Assembly.

When selecting nominees, the national societies have to make sure that those persons are willing to serve.

So that an informed decision can be made by the General Assembly when voting, the IFMBE community must have some information on the nominees. Therefore, the secretaries of the national societies were sent the appropriate forms and requests for this information.
