The social program includes a wet-together at the Blue Lagoon, a unique wonder of
nature; a lagoon with pleasantly warm geothermal water in the middle of a black lava
field, where we will enjoy bathing, a cocktail and light dinner accompanied by a live
band playing hot and steaming music.
Reykjavik is the venue for the conference, the northernmost capital in the world.
It takes place in the middle of June year 2002, when the nights are bright and the
clear air offers a good view of the unusual nature of Iceland. The hot and wild
volcano island offers a rich variety of hot springs, waterfalls, mountains, glaciers,
birds and whales to be enjoyed by interested minds and caring hearts.
With this invitation, you are cordially welcomed at the 12th Nordic-Baltic Conference
on Biomedical Engineering in Reykjavik, Iceland on 18-22 June 2002.
