Winners of the MEDICON Student Competition Awards - One Year Later

The IX Mediterranean Conference on Medical and Biological Engineering and Computing was held in Pula, Croatia, June 12 - 15, 2001. From 308 papers presented at the conference, 40 papers entered the Student Competition.

The winners of the Student Competition Awards were: Federica Vatta, Italy; Thomas Baun, Denmark and Ozren Radenovic, Croatia. In this Issue of the IFMBE News, we present the winners and their scientific and professional development in the year after the Conference.
