APCMBE 99

KOSOMBE (The Korea Society of Medical & Biomedical Engineering) is the next host for the IFMBE conference in the Asia-Pacific region. The conference will be held on Cheju Island, Korea on 12-15 September 1999 and the theme will be Biomedical Engineering for the 21st Century.

KOSOMBE was founded in 1979 and now comprises over 800 members, committed to promoting the biomedical engineering industry. Two conferences are held each year with around 100 paper-presentations at each. In addition, four issues of the KOSOMBE journal are published annually.
