ESEM Student Awards for 2004ESEM, the European Society for Engineering and Medicine will run a young members paper competition during MEDICON'04. There will be a single prize of 500 euro and all eligible competitors will receive free membership to ESEM for 12 months.The prize is open to all Ph.D. students (proof of status required) and the clinical relevance and applicability is a major criterion, together with scientific excellence. Applications should be sent to Prof. J. Vander Sloten, Division of Biomechanics and Engineering Design, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium.
