- 1999 - 2001: M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, São Paulo,
São Paulo, Brazil. Thesis: "Segmentation and Estimation of the Histological Composition of the Tumor Mass in CT
Images of Neuroblastoma" (in Portuguese). Obtained the highest grade of 'A' in all of the courses taken in the M.Sc. program.
- 1994 - 1998: Electrical Engineering 1st Degree, Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, São Paulo,
São Paulo, Brazil. Ranked 11th among 141 students in Electrical Engineering, and 36th among 556 students of all
engineering programs.
