This year's Medicine and Technology, a specialized fair of medical, rehabilitation, laboratory, dental equipment, optics and pharmacy, is the thirtieth event in turn. Following the tradition and high reputation it will justify the name of the leading fair in the field not only in Croatia but in the whole of the region this year as well. Apart from trend and conjuncture Medicine and Technology 2001 has secured the presence of nearly 400 exhibitors from some twenty countries worldwide, of which 70 per cent from abroad with the total visit of around 10.000 persons.
For many years now Medicine and Technology has succeeded in keeping the character of business and professional fair assigned mainly to the expert and scientific visit, and has launched the latest achievements in technology, the line being in service of health and progress.
Specific quality of timing the Medicine and Technology 2002 is characterized by the Reform of the Health Care of the Republic of Croatia, as a new direction of health policy within the scope of the programme of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, along with the basic goal of quality increasing of the health care.
Medicine and Technology 2002 has been given mulitiple importance within the line, not only as marketing promotional tool of the latest technologies, but mainly as the possibility of launching new quality of health service.
