Clinical Engineering and American College of Clinical Engineers (ACCE)
The contents of this issue have mostly been derived from the last two issues of the ACCE Newsletter. The material has been provided by its editor Dr Joe Dyro. Joe at one time chaired the Clinical Engineering division of IFMBE.
As readers will notice the ACEW workshops that took place in Moscow and Cape Town have had a strong input also from the IFMBE side, especially from Peter Heimann and Mladen Poluta.
There is also a report of the activities of the INFRATECH forum, which is also being co-ordinated by ACCE and is supported by WHO.

Last but not least, the IFMBE Newsletter is very much interested in also receiving information and material that relates to clinical engineering.
