IFMBE Constitution & By-laws Committee AppointedIn May 2004, the IFMBE General Assembly voted, in order to appoint the Chairperson and the members of the Constitution and By-laws Committee. The ballot was conducted in the form of an email ballot. The Ballot was closed on June 5, 2004. The candidates were proposed by the IFMBE President, Prof. J. Nagel and his proposal was approved by the AC members. 49.52 % of the delegates voted in favour of the proposal and there were no votes against. According to the Federation's Statutes, the candidates are elected for the term 2003-2006. The new Constitution and By-laws Committee is constituted as follows:
