The overarching goal of AUBES is to enable Africa to contribute to and participate in the global "application of engineering and physical science theories and techniques to biological and medical research and practice". Mission The mission of the Union is to develop and advance biomedical engineering and science, health and well-being of African Nations through the use of modern as well as affordable and appropriate technology.
